Lady Gaga

Lately, some of my favorite quotes have come from Lady Gaga. I don't know when she said them, or what the context in which she said them was, but they hit home.

I had someone ask me once how I could ever take anything Lady Gaga says seriously. My question is, how could you not? Yes, I know she's a little eccentric. Okay, she's VERY eccentric. Her outfits are weird and out of the box, her videos are exceptionally out there and tend to make me dizzy, but she's still a person. A person who isn't afraid to be the person she is or wants to be. A person that doesn't give a flying leap about what others think about her.

Frankly, I wish more people were like that. I could probably do without more crazy outfits, but I wish more people would be who they really are.

All of this, Lady Gaga included, goes back to one song in my opinion.

"I see your true colors and that's why I love you, so don't be afraid to let them show, your true colors, true colors are beautiful like a rainbow..."

Show your true colors. Be who you are. Follow YOUR dreams. Don't let anyone else tell you who to be.
