"What do you want to do with that, Becca?" That's what everyone asks me every time I prattle off what I am majoring in. Here's my answer: I don't know.
Well, let me rephrase. I know what I WANT to do with my life, but it doesn't necessarily have much to do with my major. It has more to do with what I love doing: traveling, writing, taking pictures. I'd LOVE to find a job that would pay me to travel to a country/city, write about it, take pictures, and come back. I've been told I could work with study abroad offices, but since I haven't studied abroad myself, I don't know how well that would work out.
I'm just beginning to realize that I'm probably not meant to be in a cubicle for life. Granted, I'll never know until I try, and hopefully I'll get an internship that will give me a taste of office life. I am also realizing that I am just one of those people that is interested in too much stuff. I like kids, so I could see myself working at a daycare or a preschool. But I have little to no patience, so at the same time I can't see myself working with kids. I'm just curious about life, and want to try everything.
Bah.
